Walc is pleased to announce its affiliation with the Care Workers Charity, that supports current and former carers that may find themselves in financial crisis due to life changing circumstance, such as bereavement, illness or injury and they help with the associated costs such as funeral expenses, moving home, travelling to and from hospital expenses, home repairs etc.

Dani our Logistics Manager has been in conversation with the Charity during the Pandemic putting forward the voice of the smaller care home like ours, which often cannot be partnered with such a large charity due to the financial implication on the company itself. Through his continual communication with them they have recognised the need to incorporate smaller businesses such as ours into their Mission statement and vision for the future.

We genuinely hope that non of our staff ever have to make use of the charity but are comforted by the knowledge that should they need it, it is there.
